Training and coaching of journalists on gender sensitive reporting

Chimbua Communication Expert was contracted by Tanzania Media Women Association, TAMWA to train journalists on gender sensitive reporting and later on coaching them throughout the project as they prepared news content for newspapers, broadcast and online media.

The project was implemented in line with media campaign which focuses on sexual harassment and sextortion in higher learning institutions and at work places. The aim was to break the social consensus of silence surrounding sexual harassment in higher learning institutions and at work places.

The campaign was implemented through newspapers, TV, radio and social media messages on Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, facebook and TAMWA`s website.
